Brrrrrr.....

After an entire month of sunshine, the rain arrived today. Along with the rain came cold temperatures (46 degrees for the high temp) and high winds (gusting to 40mph). And so it was definitely a "work inside" type of day.

We harvested the onions yesterday (Sunday), but there are lots of green tomatoes still on the vines. We're going to have to cover the garden tomorrow night; they're predicting another frost/freeze.

We are still picking blackberries. . . and more blackberries . . .

Autumn is a wonderful time of year.

And we think he's adorable! Introducing our newest addition, a ten-week-old Holland Lop, fondly known as Pierre. More pictures coming soon of this cute little guy. :-)

Tonight we enjoyed a delicious heirloom tomato salad, freshly picked from the garden. We love the variety of colors and flavors. Delightful!!
